Written for a recording session at Columbia College Chicago, this piece describes the phase of Atonement in the Hero’s Journey. Following the stage of Transformation, Atonement is the phase where the hero feels “at one” with themselves. It is a piece of self assurance and inner light. Flowing, delicate, and harmonically adventurous, this piece explores the feelings felt on the journey to acceptance.
